Iată că a venit vremea să vă împărtăşesc din nou ce cărţi noi au poposit în biblioteca mea, fie pe rafturi, fie pe Kindle. Să le luăm, aşadar, în ordine!
Pe raftul meu din bibliotecă am adăugat "Scrisori către o tânără gimnastă" de Nadia Comăneci, pe care am primit-o cadou de la naşa mea.
Intre Oklahoma si Bucuresti distanta e mare doar daca te cramponezi de geografie. Nadia are insa harta ei, pe care drumul intre cele doua se parcurge cu iuteala gandului. Stabilita locativ in America si afectiv in Romania, sportiva care a schimbat cursul gimnasticii s-a decis sa le spuna celor care vor sa-i calce pe urme cat de anevoios e drumul de la baza la varful piramidei si cat de serioase riscurile. Prin treisprezece scrisori oneste si directe, ea scoate din cotloane amintiri mai vechi si mai noi si se prezinta cu ele in fata cititorilor. Totodata, ea scrie o serie de minieseuri care pot sa para retete ale succesului, dar nu sunt. Rostul lor e sa le deschida ochii candizilor care nu stiu ca gramul de aur inseamna un litru de sudoare. Si sa-i invite la cumpatare pe toti cei care vad in marii sportivi niste aspiratoare de privilegii si nimic mai mult. Nadia e sincera, lucida si detasata. Are, adica, trei calitati vitale pentru un cronicar al trecutului imediat.
